In a charming heritage house dating back to the 1920s, this gin bar is named after the popular gin pahit drink made with bitters during the British colonial era (pahit means “bitter” in Malay). Headed by founders CK Kho and Chye, Pahit stocks about 150 varieties of gin, mostly from the United Kingdom but also from the United States, Australia, Finland, Japan and Colombia. The gin-and-tonics are infused with local flavours like jackfruit, pomelo and assam boi (preserved plum).
