Auberge Tokito, situated in Tokyo’s western suburb of Tachikawa, has become the talk of the city since its opening in April 2023. Tokito embraces the spirit of French auberge dining, a combination of high-end cuisine with refined accommodations. This complex contains a restaurant and teahouse alongside four guest rooms – but anyone can book a table at the restaurant, even if you’re not staying as a guest.
The restaurant, Shokubo, is led by Yoshinori Ishii and his team of chefs brimming with experience in Michelin-starred joints. The ten-course gastronomic experience is like no other. Whether you’re sampling delicate slices of raw Spanish mackerel on muscat grapes or tuna with veal stock, each dish is delicately arranged and uses only the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from the very best producers in Japan.
