In a first-of-its-kind move, UOB collaborates with KrisFlyer to launch the KrisFlyer UOB Account, a banking solution in Singapore that earns KrisFlyer miles when the account holder saves or spends. This account comes with a debit card.
KrisFlyer miles earned on the KrisFlyer UOB Account can be used towards award flights and upgrades on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir. These earned miles can also go towards travel vouchers and complimentary privileges on Scoot and TigerAir.
More mileage when you save more
Starting from an account balance of $3,000, KrisFlyer UOB Account holders can start earning miles. The first tier of 1.4 KrisFlyer miles per dollar spent on the KrisFlyer UOB debit card is applicable for account holders with a balance of $3,000 to $100,000 – the highest earn rate currently on the market. The second tier of 3.4 KrisFlyer miles per dollar spent is for account holders with $100,000 – $350,000 in their account. When the account balance goes above $350,000, account holders can earn 5.4 KrisFlyer miles per dollar spent.
A dedicated portal
Ready to start planning for a getaway? UOB’s banking app, UOB Mighty, features a KrisFlyer miles calculator, which KrisFlyer UOB Account holders can use to determine how much they need to save and spend in order to meet their travel goals faster. Through UOB Mighty, account holders will be able to access www.uob.com.sg/KrisFlyerUOB for information on SIA Group’s top 10 destinations for travel inspiration.
