The number of national parks near Seattle. Within a day’s drive of Seattle, visitors can access pristine mountain scenery in the Mount Rainier, Olympic and North Cascades national parks.

The approximate number of coffee shops in Seattle. Seattle is the birthplace of Starbucks, and there’s definitely no shortage of independent brewers. Check out the world’s first Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room, a coffee-lover’s playground in the Capitol Hill neighbourhood.

The year Evergreen Point Floating Bridge was built. Officially named the Governor Albert D. Rosellini Bridge, this is the world’s longest floating bridge, spanning 2,350 meters across Lake Washington.

The number of major league sports teams in Seattle. From American football to baseball to stellar women’s basketball and soccer teams, Seattle has a major league sports team for every season.
