Switzerland’s biggest art museum, the Kunsthaus, recently unveiled a striking David Chipperfield-designed extension across from the original building. Within the extension is the Kunsthaus Bar, a local favourite for savouring a glass of prosecco, champagne or Swiss wine, before a night out. While the bar has some notable artworks, including Pétales et jardin de la nymphe Ancolie by Max Ernst, it’s easy to take in more masterpieces at the Kunsthalle itself – join the museum’s Art Aperitif on Thursdays, which combines an aperitif and museum entry.
