One of the city’s prettiest boutiques is a store, café and an event and exhibition space all rolled into one. The brainchild of owner Kiran Rao, Amethyst is set in a granary warehouse. Rao loves the outdoors and has turned the space into an oasis of green, with many tranquil nooks and corners. The café provides a charming garden setting, where highlights include the chicken and jalapeno risotto and the arabiata sourdough pizza, which comes with fresh buffalo mozzarella. There’s an elegant flower shop besides the café and exhibition area on the ground floor. The entire top floor is dedicated to apparel, jewellery, home accents and grooming products, showcasing a variety of Indian designers and entrepreneurs.
