Opening your bedroom door at The Adelphi is like lifting the lid on a box of macarons, thanks to its bright, colourful aesthetic. Originally built in 1938, this Flinders Lane building was most recently overhauled by Hachem Design, who embarked on an ultra-modern, high-contrast refit. There’s a striking glass-bottomed rooftop pool, and one of Australia’s best restaurants, Ezard, in the basement. True to spirit, there’s even a dessert-only restaurant on the premises.
