Get a taste of Peranakan (Straits Chinese) culture while learning how to incorporate the distinctive designs of decorative Peranakan tiles into your own tablecloth or table runner. In a 2.5 hour workshop led by acclaimed artist Jennifer Lim, you’ll be printing on cotton sateen fabric using special hand-carved rubber blocks inspired by those iconic tiles.

Crochet a cute amigurumi
The beginner amigurumi workshop at Tiny Rabbit Hole teaches you how to crochet an adorable Dango, a magical character inspired by the Japanese dessert dumpling of the same name. The Japanese art of crocheting small stuffed creatures with yarn may seem daunting if you’ve never picked up a crochet hook before, but we’re told even 12-year-olds can do it.

Fashion useful ceramics
Learn to shape and create rustic clay vessels using an electric wheel. You’ll be guided on techniques from clay wedging to hand-forming cups, bowls, vases – it’s all up to you. By the end of this four-hour hands-on workshop, each participant usually produces two to four pieces of work, which will be fired and ready for collection two to four weeks later.
