Say konnichiwa (hello) to more Japanese adventures – Singapore Airlines (SIA) will add a fourth daily service to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport with effect from 28 December 2018 to meet growing travel demand between Singapore and Japan. The additional flight, which will be operated on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, will increase SIA’s daily services to the Japanese capital (which include two flights to Narita Airport) to six per day. This will add over 1,800 seats per week to the Singapore–Tokyo route.
SIA will also operate the world’s largest commercial aircraft, the Airbus A380, to Osaka daily from 28 October 2018 to 30 March 2019. Flight SQ618 will depart Singapore at 1.30am and arrive in Osaka at 8.45am. The return flight, SQ619, will depart Osaka at 11am and arrive in Singapore at 5.10pm. The additional service will add over 720 seats per week to the Singapore–Osaka route.
