What do you think is Cebu’s best-kept secret?
Inambakan Waterfalls at Ginatilan, which is about a four- hour drive from the city. You have to trek through a very long dirt track from the main road but the views are worth it.
Where are some of your favourite places to eat?
Lechon is one of Cebu’s most iconic dishes and Zubuchon Lechon at One Mango Mall serves some of the best roast pork in the city.
What’s a good day trip?
Bohol is a must. It’s only an hour and a half by fast ferry and offers a laid-back, ambience. While they may be touristy, the Chocolate Hills are so beautiful they are definitely worth a visit.
Any tips when it comes to shopping?
Carcar is known as the “shoe capital of Cebu” and is the place to visit for high-quality and affordable footwear.
What is your favourite thing about Cebu?
I love how friendly and helpful the people are. They are always willing to lend a helping hand.
