A truly unique watering hole, The Temple – or to give it its full title, The Temple Of Convenience – is a repurposed underground Victorian public toilet in Manchester’s bustling Oxford Road. It’s one of the tiniest bars in the city (stretch your arms out and you can just about touch both sides) and a firm favourite with Manchester musicians, due in no small part to its excellent playlist of cutting-edge alternative music.
