Perhaps the most opulent drinking den in Singapore, ATLAS is a tribute to the grand Art Deco-style architecture of New York and Europe. Situated in the iconic Parkview Square building, the bar’s gilded columns, plush furniture and marble bar are the product of an arduous five-month renovation by owner Vicky Hwang. While other spirits are present on the menu, gin takes pride of place. A three-storey display houses over 1,000 different types of the spirit dating as far back as 1910. There’s a strict “casual chic” dress code from 5pm – so make like Jay Gatsby and come dressed to the nines.
