The Upcycling Project, a creative collaboration between Singapore Airlines (SIA) and homegrown brands, aims to breathe new life into parts and materials from retired commercial aircraft and inflight service items since it was launched in August 2021. And for the first time since its inception, The Upcycling Project now includes an exclusive collection by Singapore Airlines, designed in-house by SIA.
From 6 July to 18 August 2022, expect to see a myriad of upcycled products, ranging from fashion, lifestyle, furniture to home products that will be displayed under one roof at Design Orchard Singapore during this pop-up event that is open to the public. Snag discounts from 10% to 15% on selected items at the event, and be among the first to witness the exclusive launch of the Designed by Singapore Airlines collection. Out of town during these dates? Accessorise like a frequent flier: Limited edition SIA aviation tags
Singapore Airlines is launching their first aviation tag as part of the Designed by Singapore Airlines collection. Made from different aircraft skins – the outer surface which covered the fuselage of SIA’s Airbus A330-300, Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-200 – these baggage tags are sure to add flair to your overnight bag or laptop case. There are three tags to choose from, each showing an illustration of the aircraft it was sourced from. Launching exclusively at the event, each individual tag sports its own serial number, so you can rest assured that you will be in possession of a limited edition product. Priced at $78 (excluding GST), you can also select a serial number of your choice for $88 (excluding GST), while stocks last.

Local fashion brand Beyond The Vines reinterprets its popular Crunch Carrier series in this collaboration with The Upcycling Project. Using life vests for the body and seat belts as a closure mechanism, the bags are available in two sizes that allow you to store many things. Swatches from the life vest that were not used in the bag were made into collectible key chains to reduce wastage.
