The hotel is a Makati landmark, occupying the most prime of the central business district’s prime real estate, right on the corner of Ayala and Makati Avenues. The awe-inspiring “Sunburst” sculpture by Philippine National Artist Napoleon Abueva on the ceiling looks down on an ever-changing cast of politicians, tycoons and celebrities.
