Designed with romance in mind, the menus at Lighthouse Restaurant & Rooftop Bar include roasted turkey stuffed with truffles and chestnut, as well as marsala wine frozen sabayon parfait with meringue and caramel sauce. They offer a three and four course set menu available from 5 November to 23 December, and then again from 26 December to 30 December.
2. The Line
Treat yourself to an extensive buffet spread this holiday season. The Line Restaurant features 16 theatre kitchens with highlights such as roasted turkey, slow-roasted prime rib and a Christmas macaron tower for the month of December. To finish, head over to the dessert bar for some indulgent treats and dessert shooters. You can also continue the festive celebrations by taking home a log cake from the gift store, Shophouse.
At the award-winning Edge restaurant, feast your eyes and fill your stomach at their seven live stations. Diners can choose from bone-in gammon ham with honey and clove, or oven-roasted mustard Angus striploin at the carving station. Over at their farmer’s cheese station, you’ll be spoilt for choice with over 18 varieties of artisanal European cheeses. For the sweet-toothed, enjoy their display of classic Christmas sweets, including Christmas pudding, panettone and vanilla spice rum entremet. Their festive dinner buffet is available now until 30 December.
From 14 to 31 December, enjoy Chef Damian’s Eurasian heritage dishes as he recreates some of his grandfather’s most well-loved recipes, as well as a series of Christmas favourites. Choose from a range of hearty stews and curries, and end off with Folklore’s well-celebrated sugee cake. Their Christmas menu is available for both lunch and dinner, and they offer a takeaway option as well.
5. The Carvery
Indulge in a delectable buffet spread that highlights the essence of the holiday season. Choose from their spit-roasted chicken with truffle, whiskey-aged US Angus beef prime ribs, classic beef wellington and more. Finish off with some yuletide sweets like Christmas log cake, festive fruitcake and their signature raspberry and lychee trifle dessert. The festive menu will be available from 5 December to 1 January.
This Christmas feast features a classic Peranakan twist, with popular dishes like Christmas roast turkey with nasi buah keluak (rice with traditional fermented nuts from the Buak Keluak tree) or nasi ulam (a herb rice salad) stuffing returning from last year. If you’re planning a dinner at home with family and friends, a takeaway option is available for their turkey, which will definitely be the star centrepiece. If you’re dining in, enjoy the four course Christmas set menu that includes their iconic roast turkey, with the option of topping up with three Bunga Telang cocktails. The menu is available from now till the end of the year.
7. Origin Grill
Shangri-La’s Origin Grill is offering a 4 or 5 course menu for dinner on Christmas Eve, and à la carte festive specials for dinner on Christmas day. Their course menu starts off with a chilled potato soup, with a choice of pan-seared halibut, Williams River cross bred Wagyu, 400 days grain fed ms 5/6 Tenderloin, or Acquerello aged risotto for the mains. End your meal on a sweet note with a classic Christmas pudding or black forest. The à la carte menu definitely does not pale in comparison, with a variety of appetisers, main courses, and desserts to choose from.
With locations at Oasia Hotel Novena and Oasia Hotel Downtown, it’s easy to sample the delicious offerings from local F&B outlet The Marmalade Pantry. This year, the brand will be offering up a festive three-course menu, available from 10 December to 1 January 2019 (excluding 24 and 25 December), and an exclusive Christmas three course set menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas day itself. Traditional festive options include turkey breast with traditional stuffing, cranberry sauce, sherry dressing and mesclun salad, while a healthier option is the charred cauliflower and bulgur wheat salad, or the pan-fried salmon.
