Don’t forget your lips and hands
As our lips are more sensitive than our skin, they deserve special care. Apply lip balm regularly throughout the flight to prevent them from drying out and cracking. Be generous with the hand cream, too.
Eat well and hydrate frequently
Drink plenty of water before and during your flight. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and salty and fatty food, which can be dehydrating. Instead, opt for antioxidant-rich foods, such as apples and plums, whenever possible.
Slather on some sunblock
Unfortunately, airplane windows do not block out harmful UV rays. Bring along some sunblock and apply it liberally. Wearing long-sleeved clothing can help shield your arms as well.
Clean and moisturise your face
Bring along mild facial wipes to remove dirt and grime, and apply some moisturiser after cleansing. A face mist can also help hydrate your skin.
