Recent news has made us (cautiously!) optimistic about planning and booking future travel in the coming months. In mid-June, the Singapore government reduced the Stay Home Notice (SHN) from three weeks to two weeks. In the days since then, there have been promising indications of high vaccination rates and soon-to-be-revised guidelines for vaccinated people. And most excitingly, several beloved regional destinations are waking up to the likelihood of imminent travel in the Asia Pacific region. With more than 1,500 hotels by Wyndham around APAC, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is one of them.
Wyndham’s exciting Holiday Here sale
The hotel group’s loyalty programme, Wyndham Rewards, the most generous of its kind in the world, has rolled out several exciting campaigns for members. In addition to member perks, savings and lowest-available rates, the new Holiday Here sale offers those booking directly up to 25% off on hotel stays. On top of that, members get 3,000 bonus points in addition to points already earned through the stay. All you have to do is book directly by 28 August 2021 for stays up to 30 August 2021.
Points enthusiasts will also appreciate the Stay 2 Nights, Earn 6,500 Points offer. From now through 6 September, booking two consecutive points gets you not only your regular points, but an additional 6,500 – enough for a free night for any future stay.
So which Hotel by Wyndham should you book?
While governments iron out the details, warm up with a local staycation. In Singapore, that means a visit to the Ramada by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park. Located in the heart of the heritage neighbourhood of Balestier, this property helps you leave the bustle of the city behind, and immerse yourself in old-time Singapore: low-rise buildings, lots of great local food (hello, bah kut teh!) and generations-old businesses.
If you’re ready to start planning a further-flung adventure, don’t forget Phuket, which has opened quarantine-free to vaccinated visitors starting this month through the Phuket Sandbox project. In addition to the Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay and the Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket, there’s also the brand new and luxe Wyndham Grand Nai Harn Beach Resort Phuket, near Phuket’s southern tip, far from the bustle of Patong. Rooms offer balconies, lagoon views or direct access to the sprawling lagoon pool.
We’ve also got our fingers crossed for Bali, which floated plans to reopen to vaccinated travellers in the coming months. The Ramada Encore by Wyndham in Seminyak is close to all the exciting beaches, including Kuta, Seminyak and Petitenget, as well as Beachwalk Mall and Discovery Shopping Mall. The larger suites come with kitchenette so you and your family can enjoy an extended stay and make yourselves at home.
And if you happen to live elsewhere around the Asia Pacific region, consider booking a stay at the Wyndham Grand Awashima in Japan’s Niigata Prefecture, the Wyndham Sky Lake Resort and Villas near Hanoi, the Wyndham Grand Foshan Gaoming on the scenic Xijiang River in China’s Guangdong Province – and dozens more.
Whether it’s a vacation to reconnect with family or a weekend escape to explore nature, get going on your next getaway. With over 1,500 hotels spanning 14 trusted brands across Asia Pacific you can count on, whatever you’re checking out, check in to a Hotel by Wyndham.
Becoming a Wyndham Rewards member
“This is all great,” you might think, “but I’m not a member.” Well, no time like the present.
