1. Racines
Sofitel Singapore City Centre’s chic bistro-styled Racines has pulled all the stops for their festive dining events this year. The lunch and dinner buffets ($138 and $148) will highlight lavish presentations of lobsters, shucked oysters, prawns and mussels on ice as well as a charcuterie section replete with cold cuts and French cheeses. While French inspired, Racines is also known for its Asian offerings which include dim sum and a live station serving seafood laksa with king prawn. There will also be festive additions like chargrilled Angus beef striploin and roast turkey with truffle butter. You can also enjoy Racines’ festive offerings in a set dinner, lunch or semi-buffet format.

2. The Line
Treat yourself to The Line‘s extensive lunch and dinner buffet (starts at $88 and $98) this holiday season. The Shangri-La’s flagship restaurant will feature 10 stations with highlights such as seafood paella, braised beef cheek, oven-roasted lamb, fresh oysters and Boston lobster for the month of December. Of course, you’ll also have festive specialties like the traditional roasted turkey, manuka honey glazed bone-in gammon ham and roasted wagyu beef available at the live carving stations. To finish, head over to the dessert bar for some indulgent treats like the traditional Christmas pie, English fruitcake and an intriguing gingerbread cheesecake.

3. Edge
Known for its stellar seafood buffets, Edge is also a worthy spot in Singapore for a special Christmas dinner. For 2022, the award-winning Edge restaurant will present a “theatrical” feast at their seven live stations. Diners can savour festive favourites like roast turkey, honey baked ham, slow-roasted O’Connor beef ribeye and smoked barbecued pork ribs followed by sweet treats like the Mont Blanc tart and classic chocolate yule log. The Festive Dinner is available at $70 until 30 November and at $108 from 1 to 30 December. Christmas lunch and brunch buffets are also available.

4. Rempapa
Fancy a Christmas dinner in Singapore with a unique local twist? Chef Damian D’Silva has put together a unique Christmas menu at Rempapa that presents classic British dishes with unique heritage flavours. The centrepiece of the meal is a roast GG French poulet with a special Rempapa spice mix. The whole chicken is brined with the spices along with salt, honey and vinegar for 24 hours before being stuffed with aromatics and roasted to tender perfection. Accompanying this are other English favourites like the spiced meatloaf with sambal mashed potatoes. There’s also a side of bubble and squeak made with Brussels sprouts, Bombay onions and roasted pork. To finish, sink your forks into the decadent spotted dick with gula Melaka custard. There’s also a variety of traditional kuehs you can purchase to bring home or gift.

5. Origin Grill
Shangri-La Singapore’s Origin Grill is offering a three- or four-course Christmas lunch and dinner menu (starting at $58). Special menu items for the holidays include a black pepper spiced pork terrine, seared scallops, smoked duck breast in apple chips and quintessential Christmas dishes like the twice-cooked turkey breast. Round off your meal on a sweet note with the special Christmas dessert, the Alaska with marshmallow meringue, limoncello semifreddo and mango sorbet.

6. Path
Path’s specially curated tasting menu highlights comforting festive dishes that would bring warmth on cold winter nights. Each of the dishes, created by chef Marvas, feature Asian flavours melded with French culinary techniques. The Festive Menu ($198 per diner) begins with hot and cold canapés followed by French Arctic char with a sauce made with white wine, cream and a fish bone stock. The dinner moves into heartier territory with the next two dishes, an Australian Wagyu beef tartare and BBQ quail drumlets that have painstakingly compressed into a ball while still on the bone. There’s also a braised Australian Wagyu short rib served in a Canton-style pot au feu.

7. Sol & Ora
Sol & Ora is the newest addition to Sentosa’s vibrant dining scene and offers another rather unique Christmas brunch. Set on a scenic rooftop perch above The Outpost Hotel, its menu highlights the Latin-Mediterranean cuisines of Italy, France, Spain and Greece. This Christmas, the restaurant will host a special festive Brunch to Remember, which will include rustic dishes like the acquerello pumpkin risotto ($32), confit Norwegian salmon with poached prawns ($22) and a crispy Sardinian porcetto ($78) – a festive specialty. What makes this brunch especially unforgettable is that the restaurant, alongside 1-Groups other concepts, will attempt to set a Singapore record for the most number of oysters shucked. The oyster live station will be available on 24 and 25 December and oysters will be available at $4 a piece (minimum order of six).

The specially curated selection features dishes that pair contemporary Asian flavours with fresh, seasonal produce, seafood and meat. Expect dishes like torched sword fish prepared with cincalok, pomelo and chilli cutter fish floss along with heartier options like a wagyu beef cheek with a potato mousseline. 15 Stamford will also present lavish buffets for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day featuring freshly shucked oysters and snow crab leg along with roast meats like a rotisserie goose topped with cranberry sauce and a seasonal chestnut gravy.
