SilverKris, Singapore Airlines’ inflight magazine, has taken home eight trophies at the Media Publishers Association of Singapore awards, held last night.
Published by Ink, the magazine has featured a new look and feel since May this year. Its focus on in-depth storytelling, crafting compelling narratives and highlighting interesting personalities around the globe was rewarded with Gold for both In-flight Media of the Year and Travel Media of the Year. Editor-in-Chief Claire Knox also won Gold for Feature Article of the Year for her story Wild Kitchen. The awards were received by Executive Editor Jalean Wong on behalf of the team.
The magazine’s photography and illustrations, most notable in its Curators section, were also honoured, winning Bronze for Illustration of the Year and Silver for Photography of the Year.
The MPAS awards are held annually and honour the best in magazine publishing in Singapore.
