This impressive complex essentially provides three museums in one: the Istanbul Archaeological Museum, the Museum of the Ancient Orient and the Tiled Kiosk Museum. The Archaeological Museum houses more than one million ancient artefacts, and highlights include the sarcophaguses of Alexander the Great and King Tabnit, both unearthed near Sidon in Lebanon.
