Run by twin chefs Thomas and Mathias, Michelin-starred Sühring has quickly climbed the ranks in Bangkok’s ultra-competitive fine dining scene. The brothers are cooking up some inventive food, serving up modern German cuisine inflected with Central European flavours. Standout dishes include Heaven and Earth, a medley of crispy potatoes, black pudding, green apples and spätzle (soft egg noodles). The atmospheric setting – a renovated Thai villa in the backstreets of the leafy Yen Akat community – is another major draw.
