Locals sell their creations at a weekend market next to Haewol Pavilion, a high overlook on cherry tree-lined Dalmaji Road. Some of the crafts feature hanji, traditionally made paper composed of mulberry bark. This is also the place to browse handmade pottery. The vendors operate from March to November. They set up their tables at 11am and close shop at 6pm, sometimes staying until 8pm when the weather is favourable.
