Designed by renowned German architect Ole Scheeren and local interior designer André Fu – known for his work on The Upper House in Hong Kong – the swish Andaz Singapore has 342 contemporary guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding downtown area. The design-centric hotel’s spacious pads feature warm russet and mustard colour tones, while artworks by Brazilian sculptor André Mendes, Singaporean artist Ahmad Abu Bakar and New York-based artist Monica Delgado are strung throughout the establishment. Guests can also take advantage of a complimentary minibar stocked with local snacks and dine at the on-site Alley on 25, which dishes up Singaporean street food.
