With 2023 just round the corner, Singapore’s best bars and restaurants are gearing up to ring in the new year in style. Whether you’re looking for epicurean dining events or exciting New Year’s Eve countdown parties with live music and DJs, there are plenty of options. Here are seven of the best NYE events to enjoy with your family and loved ones.
1. CÉ LA VI
Parked atop the iconic Marina Bay Sands, CÉ LA VI offers commanding views of the Marina Bay and the countdown fireworks. The lifestyle destination’s restaurant, helmed by executive chef Maksym Chukanov, will offer a special ingredient-driven five-course NYE menu ($298) that will include dishes like a poached yellow chicken draped in lashings of foie gras jus, served alongside Jerusalem artichoke. For dessert, sink your forks into a delightful alcohol-infused Champagne sorbet with Pecham pear.
After dinner, take things up a notch at the Club Lounge, which will hold a fabulous NYE countdown party ($98) with an “Old Hollywood” theme. Dress in your most dapper outfits and dance to the resident DJ’s selection of dance-hall hits before popping the champers to ring in the new year.

2. Farrer Horse
Newly opened in 2022, Farrer Horse is housed in the boutique Sultan Hotel, itself in the heritage neighbourhood of Kampong Glam. To ring in 2023, the bar will host its first ever New Year’s Eve party celebration where a special selection of cocktails will be available to toast the countdown. Adding to the party atmosphere is a live set by DJ Bobos who’ll be spinning classic hip hop and R&B hits night long.
Throughout December, Farrer Horse is also offering festive bottle packages that are available for both dine-in and takeaway. The package includes a bottle of Moët & Chandon along with a whisky, rum, gin or vodka of your choice for $250. Options include McCallan 12 Years, Lagavulin, Diplomatico, Ron Zacapa, Roku, Belvedere and more, subject to availability.

3. 665°F and Mr. Stork at Andaz Singapore
Sky-high steakhouse 665°F at Andaz Singapore has pulled all the stops with their special New Year’s Eve five-course tasting menu ($208 for two guests). The dinner will begin with exquisite dishes like the Boston lobster cocktail with a luxurious topping of Kaluga caviar followed by two entrées: crispy scale blue cod bouillabaisse and semi di melone pasta with winter black truffle. For mains, pick between a Pira oven-grilled A4 Kagoshima Wagyu striploin “persillade” or Patagonian toothfish “persillade”, both paired with potato mille-feuille, parsnip and a trio pepper sauce. For dessert, indulge in the mango lychee mille-feuille served with an intriguing strawberry basil ice cream. The menu can also be paired with a selection of curated wines.
After dinner, head up to Mr. Stork and take in Singapore’s iconic skyline at the ‘Now That’s What I Call KOOL’ retro-themed countdown party ($298 for standing tables and teepees, $398 for table seating). A live DJ set by Brendon P. will feature 80s, soul and R&B hits while you nibble on free-flow canapés and dishes from the à la minute stations. Keep the revelry going with unlimited Champagne, wine, beer and spirits.

4. New Year’s Eve Countdown Beach Party at Sentosa
Prefer to spend your New Year’s Eve by the beach? Coastes, Bikini Bar and Sand Bar will band together with C Side to present an exciting NYE beach party at Sentosa. The New Year’s Eve Countdown Beach Party will span over 39,000 square feet of Siloso Beach and offer a multi-sensory experience with live DJs, band performances and fire dances. Singaporean band, Rock Rosettes, will take the stage at Bikini Bar and belt out classic rock anthems and chart-toppers. At the same time, local and international DJs at Coastes and Sand Bar will amp things up with a range of EDM, hip-hop and R&B tracks. The event is headlined by DJ Reiko who will play alongside DJ Jagi, The Partyman, DJ Ephrem and DJ Jason T.
Entry to New Year’s Eve Countdown Beach Party at Sentosa is at $18 per person. VIP tables and premium drink packages are also available from $368 for five guests and more.

5. Kinki Restaurant + Bar
Ring in the New Year in style at Kinki Restaurant + Bar, a breezy rooftop spot that overlooks the Marina Bay and the countdown fireworks. Fuel up for a night of revelry with the restaurant’s four- ($128) and six-course ($198) meals. The menu includes a medley of seafood appetisers like pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, sashimi and mains like Wagyu beef and grilled lobster tail with mentaiko.
After dinner, head to the rooftop bar on level 3 and count down to the new year with signature cocktails like the Earl Grey infused negroni and the margarita-inspired Geisha-Rita. 7. NOBU
Award-winning restaurant NOBU by Nobu Matsuhisa, will present a lavish six-course New Year’s Eve Omakase ($485 per guest). The menu highlights a remarkably fresh selection of seafood that include sea urchin paired with caviar, yuba and wasabi soy and an intriguing Singapore-style seafood ceviche. The following courses feature Peruvian-Japanese inflections crafted by executive sushi chef Tim Otomo and head chef Hideki Maeda. For mains, enjoy an exquisitely crafted selection of sushi and main courses of scallop and foie gras vanilla miso paired with Josper oven-grilled A5 Japanese Wagyu Beef dressed in truffle sauce and shaved fresh truffles. End things on a sweet note with pastry chef Jackie Teo’s decadent kagami mochi with orange-lime compote, a selection of petit fours, and a glass of Champagne to toast the new year.
