A century-old heritage house displaying Peranakan culture
Built around 1895, this meticulously restored three-floor townhouse was once the ancestral home of 19th-century shipping tycoon Wee Bin’s Peranakan (native-born people of mixed local and foreign ancestry) family after settling in Singapore from Fujian. Visitors can take guided tours of the building from Tuesdays to Fridays and self-guided tours on Saturdays.
