ArtScience Museum is part of the colossal Moshe Safdie-designed Marina Bay Sands – the country’s premier integrated resort that also includes a casino, hotel, high-end shopping mall and two theatres. Helmed by Kiwi director Honor Harger, its exhibits primarily examine what happens when art, science, technology and culture collide. The museum also runs an impressive slate of events for the public, including conversations with leading scientists and artists, regular film screenings and workshops connected with ongoing showcases. “Future World” – the museum’s interactive, high-tech permanent exhibition created in tandem with Japanese art collective teamLab – is a must-visit.
