Filipinos have elevated mall-going to an art form, with behemoth shopping centres that rank among the world’s largest. The SM Mall of Asia (MOA) is only the third-largest in Metro Manila, though it used to be the biggest in Asia. It has now been surpassed by its sister properties, SM North EDSA and SM Megamall. However, MOA’s location on Manila Bay, within the so-called Entertainment City complex, still draws about 200,000 people daily.
