Since being founded in 2001 by designers Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers, Moooi (a play on the Dutch word for beauty) has attained a cult-like status. Its Amsterdam store is a great place to browse wonderfully playful lighting, furniture and accessories, as well as pieces from other local brands such as Studio Job and Joost van Bleiswijk.
