This is one of a collection of Sekeping urban retreats around Malaysia, designed by local landscape architect Ng Seksan. Each retreat is built with the intention to preserve as much of an existing building’s character as possible, and to give nature the respect it deserves. Retreats are open to the elements, with an overall raw aesthetic – making use of exposed bricks, reclaimed wood and wire fencing in their construction, while never compromising on style. The Sekeping Tenggiri house has seven air-conditioned bedrooms, a common pool and lounge, and is situated close to Bangsar Village Shopping Centre as well as a night market that opens every Sunday.
