The modern reconstruction of famed samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s 16th-century castle houses an excellent multilingual museum on Osaka’s feudal history, while the surrounding gardens attract visitors with a scenic moat and over 4,000 cherry trees. It’s also a venue for festivals and other major city events.
