If you’re looking to take a closer look at Balinese culture, check out this sleek new museum on the grounds of the capacious AYANA Bali resort, just 12km away from Bali’s international airport. Its inaugural main exhibition features majestic ogoh-ogoh, effigies that Balinese communities create and parade through the streets when they celebrate Nyepi, the day of silence, also known as the most important day in the Balinese calendar. You’ll also find various artifacts such as Balinese calendars, traditional musical instruments as well as a series of short films on view at the auditorium.
SAKA Museum is open to AYANA Bali hotel guests free of charge and to the public for an admission fee.
