Housed in a striking white-brick colonial-style house, Lucky Cat Coffee and Kitchen is one of the prettiest contenders in Jakarta’s lively café scene. The gorgeous minimalist aesthetic comprises rustic wooden elements, a high-ceiling glass roof from which warm sunlight streams in, scattered hanging plants and an old tree growing in the middle of the spacious two-storey establishment. On the menu are Western-leaning dishes such as salmon and black olive spaghetti and mushroom and avocado on toast, as well as coffee and cakes that arrive perfectly plated on pretty tableware. The best part? The café operates 24 hours a day, making it a great spot for night owls.
