This beloved family-owned local institution has been selling its homemade baked goods since 1891. The art of baking is given the respect it’s due here, with the team working solely with natural ingredients and sourdough to produce around 80 different breads as well as ever-changing monthly specials such as the Zeus-Stange (meaning ‘Zeus’ Staff’) – a wholewheat baguette variation with baked-in hot peppers, bell peppers and feta cheese.
