The very first Carlsberg brewery is now a full-blown attraction, complete with life-sized stone elephant gatekeepers and horse-carriage rides. Interactive exhibitions and, of course, tasting experiences round out the visit and add a level of education about one of the world’s most ubiquitous beers. Its 22,000-strong bottle collection is also an eye-opener.
