Many of Shanghai’s hard-partying locals pop bottles at more upscale establishments, but they often miss out on their city’s exciting underground clubbing scene. Enjoyably small and no-frills venues such as Dada, which always has free entry, attract brilliant cult DJs from around the world, offering a flipside to the shiny mega-clubs.
