Surprisingly springing up mid-pandemic on Street 26 in 2021, this 1930s Parisian jazz-lounge throwback was the brainchild of Scots émigré Stewart Kidd. The ex-Village Café owner was known for his creative pizzazz and penchant for vintage European furnishings and local artwork. This similarly design-forward joint hosts classic evening cocktails and regular club nights with imported and homegrown DJs. One of the most attractive bars in town, besides its enticing décor and vintage photography, SO 26 serves an excellent range of decadent tapas (chorizo in red wine, feta/olive/tomato bruschetta), pasta and desserts.
