While a paddock-to-plate philosophy feels like a prerequisite of any Sydney eatery worth its salt today, when Three Blue Ducks opened in 2010 it was ahead of the curve. This laid-back little beach spot is the passion project of friends united by a love of good food and good surf, and while it now has outposts in Byron Bay, Brisbane and Sydney suburb Rosebery, its original Bronte location remains a favourite for that Aussie brunch staple: avocado on toast.
