Carriageworks – where Sydney’s steam trains were once built – is one of the city’s most interesting arts spaces and, on a Saturday morning, home to some of its best eats. Under the creative direction of chef Mike McEnearney, Carriageworks Farmers Market brings together old-school vendors selling fresh produce and flowers, as well as pop-ups from well-loved local outfits. With Billy Kwong steamed pork buns, Sonoma sourdough, Single O coffee and more, it’s a chance to sample a cross-section of Sydney’s culinary scene.
