Terms & Conditions of Contest

  1. Information on how to participate in the contest forms part of the Terms & Conditions. Entry into the contest is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  2. Submission of an entry by a person does not qualify the person to be a participant. This contest is only open to natural persons aged 18 years and above as at the date of entry, except staff and families of Singapore Airlines Limited, Singapore Press Holdings, Fairmont Singapore and their subsidiaries, and anyone professionally associated with the contest. The entry is not transferable. The demise of a participant disqualifies his entry.
  3. The contest period is between Tuesday, 1st May 2012 at 00:01 (Singapore time) and Friday, 25th May 2012 at 23:59 (Singapore time).
  4. To enter the contest, please log into silverkris.com and email the answer with your full name (as in your passport), address, email address, and contact telephone number.
  5. Multiple entries per participant are not acceptable and only ONE (1) entry per person is valid. In case of multiple entries by the same person, the organiser may, in its sole discretion, allow only the first entry received for participation or reject all the entries.
  6. Incomplete entries, illegible entries and entries not in accordance with entry instructions will be rejected.
  7. By participating in this contest, you consent to Singapore Press Holdings and its subsidiaries using and/or processing any information or data provided by you for the purpose of sending you advertisements, info-material or messages (through email, sms/mms and/or facsimile) relating to SilverKris news, products and services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the information shall be used exclusively by Singapore Press Holdings and its subsidiaries and shall be maintained with a reasonable degree of care to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
  8. There will be three (3) winners. Winners will be selected based on the first three (3) correct entries that are opened.
  9. The time of entry is the time that the email is received by the organiser. The organiser is not responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entry including any entry not received by the organiser or delays in the delivery of any entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or any other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  10. Each winner will receive a 4 Day 3 Night stay at Fairmont Singapore, valid from 1st June 2012 to 31st July 2013. Terms and conditions apply for hotel vouchers.
  11. Prizes are not transferrable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The value of the prize will be solely determined by the organiser.
  13. Prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation is payable if a winner is unable to use a prize as stated.
  14. Prizes are not inclusive of flights or any other holiday expenses. Unless expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions, all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
  15. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required by the organiser with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed.
  16. Winners will be notified by email, and the results of the contest will be posted on silverkris.com.
  17. Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the winning entry, and will be sent to him by registered mail. If the winner is deceased, the prize will be deemed forfeited.
  18. If a participant's contact details change during the contest period, the participant must immediately notify the organiser.
  19. The organiser’s decision is final on matters relating to this contest. The organiser will not correspond on the reasons for a decision.
  20. This contest is void in countries where it is illegal.
  21. The laws of Singapore will apply to this contest. In case of a dispute, the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction.
  22. This contest is personal to the participant. No other person has any right to enjoy the benefit of this contest through a participant’s entry.
