Singapore Airlines will launch a special flight to commemorate the retirement of its Boeing 747 fleet after close to four decades of service. The special commemorative flight, SQ747, will depart Singapore for Hong Kong on April 6 at 0830hrs and arrive in Hong Kong at 1315hrs; the return leg SQ748 will depart Hong Kong at 1445hrs and land in Singapore at 1930hrs*.

Celebratory activities to mark the B747’s final journey include a pre-boarding party at the gatehold room, a unique inflight service experience and meals, as well as an exclusive B747 goodie bag and a certificate for all passengers on the flight.

Tickets for both legs are available on SIAjourneys.com. First Class passengers booked on SQ747 and SQ748 will get to enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Airline’s cabin crew training facilities, experience the B747 flight simulator, tour SATS’ (the Airline’s inflight catering service provider) Inflight Catering Centre and indulge from a special gourmet menu.

To make this extra special, land packages in Singapore and Hong Kong will be offered to customers booked on all classes of SQ747 and SQ748.
