1. ROCK ON
With a name like Villa Rockstar, this beach house at St Barths’ Eden Rock hotel has to be seen to be believed. Located in the picturesque French West Indies, the 16,000 sq ft villa has facilities such as four master suites and a cinema room. Its most amazing feature has to be the recording studio (right) which is home to the 1973 Neve mixing console used by John Lennon when he recorded the legendary anthem Imagine.

2. ENGLISH CHARM
Three new Belgravia Suites (right) at The Goring in London are now champions of British craftsmanship and history, specifically its heritage fabrics.
