Cab rides will never be the same now that Norway’s
Kirkenes Snowhotel has launched the world’s first dog-
sled taxi service. Guests – who will be picked up from the
Kirkenes Airport – will be provided with a thermal suit and
get to know their eight Alaskan husky drivers before the ride.
The 45-minute exhilarating journey through the spectacular
snowy landscape costs 2,300 kroner (US$370). If you’d like to
spend more time with the canines, the hotel also offers dog-
sledding lessons and tours into the surrounding wilderness.
